01
Who we are
Access Silicon Valley (“Access Silicon Valley”, “we”, “us”) operates this website and delivers the immersion, retreat, and advisory programs described on it. You can reach us at any time at accesssiliconvalley@gmail.com.
02
What we collect
We only collect what you type into a form on this site. There is no account system, no advertising pixel, and no cross site tracking.
- Custom program request form: your name, email address, organization, country, program type, group size, preferred dates, program length, focus areas, and any goals you describe.
- Sample itinerary download form: your name, work email address, and company.
- Events and cohort interest capture: your email address, and the event or cohort you asked about.
- Technical data attached automatically to a submission: your browser user agent string and the time of the request.
We do not ask for and do not want payment card numbers, government identifiers, health information, or any other sensitive category of personal information through this site.
03
Why we use it
Submissions are used to answer the inquiry you made and to prepare the program, proposal, or document you asked for. Concretely, that means:
- Replying to you and scoping the program you described.
- Sending the specific document you requested, such as the sample retreat itinerary.
- Following up about that inquiry, and telling you when a cohort or event you asked about is scheduled.
- Keeping an internal record of inquiries so we can answer questions about a past request.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
04
Who processes it for us
A small number of service providers handle data on our behalf, only to run this site and deliver our replies:
- Cloudflare, Inc.: website hosting, request routing, and the database that stores form submissions. Cloudflare also processes standard connection logs.
- Mailjet (Sinch Email): sends the notification and reply emails generated by the forms on this site.
- CARTO and OpenStreetMap: supply the base map tiles on our ecosystem map page. Loading that map causes your browser to request tiles from them directly.
- Luma: where a specific event page links out to it, that event registration is handled by Luma under its own privacy policy.
Fonts are served from this site rather than a third party font network. We do not run analytics or advertising tags.
05
How long we keep it
Inquiry records are kept for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted. If you ask us to delete your information sooner, we do that instead. Email we exchange with you is retained in our mail system for as long as the business relationship is active.
06
Your choices and requests
You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email accesssiliconvalley@gmail.com with the address you used to contact us and we will respond within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for making a request.
California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion or correction, and to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of, but the request channel above is open to you.
Some browsers send a Global Privacy Control signal. Because we do not sell or share personal information, that signal does not change how this site behaves.
07
International visitors
We operate from the United States and process data there. If you contact us from outside the United States, you are sending your information to a country whose data protection rules may differ from your own.
08
Children
This site is directed at adults arranging programs. Student program participants are enrolled through their institution or a parent or guardian, not through this website. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this site.
09
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
